Food & Snacks  
Although we hope everybody's eating right, were not going to go into a big disertation about diet. 
For game & practice purposes, we recommend that you ask Parental Units not to feed the kids a big 
bowl of Froot Loops and drop 'em off for you to deal with the sugar rush. Kids already come stock 
with short attention spans and hyperactivity plus the boost in sugar will cause them to crash and 
get cranky. We want them as focused as a kid can get so protiens & carbs are the best bet. A bowl 
of rice or pasta, even a hot dog or hamburger in a bun or on bread or even a Granola Bar will benefit 
all, much better than a bowl of sugar. If it is very hot out, avoiding milk is a good idea as it may 
curdle in the stomach and make for a really grumpy player.


As for game & practice snacks, fruit & real juice is a win win. The kids like it and it's healthy.
It's also a reciprical courtsy to the Parental Units to not send them home all pumped up on a sugar rush.
