Hand Ball

Please STOP it. Hand Ball ... Hand Ball ... Everybody wants that free kick. Ok, in all fairness, everybody's all excited and it's a natural reaction to yell 
Hand Ball whenever the ball hits a players hands. The law states that a Direct Free Kick is awarded when a player other that the  Goal Keeper, 
"Handles the ball Deliberately". A simple way to look at it ... "The ball can not commit a foul ... only a player can commit a foul". 
If the ball is kicked into a players hand, no foul. If the player uses the hands to block the ball ... foul. Also keep in mind, the Referees can only call 
what they actually see and must determine whether the hand ball was deliberate or not. All the yelling in the world, won't change the call. 

All Hand Balls outside the Penalty Area (the big box) are awarded a Direct Free Kick to the opposing team. 
Hand Balls inside the Penalty Area  (Big Box) by Player other than the Goalie within his own Penalty Area, are awarded a Penalty Kick to the opposing team. 
When the Goalie deliberately handles the ball , directly from a Throw-In or an Indirect Free Kick, an Indirect Free Kick is awarded to the opposing team.
